Holi Festival

On Saturday Greg and I went to the Festival of Colors in Spanish Fork. I don't know much about the Hindu culture, but I believe the festival is celebrating the start of Spring. There were thousands of people there and we had a blast. After a countdown from 20 everyone throws colored powdered chalk into the air and on each other. The chalk totally overtakes the air. We couldn't even see 3 feet in front of us. We were sneezing purple for quite a while :)

Used Book Wreath

Some of you may be wondering what a used book wreath is. So did I. But when I saw what it was, I knew I had to have one. If you know me, you know I'm the least artistic person on the planet, but I actually made this!!! And yes, it's made of book pages. Here's how to create one for yourself.
