Summer Pictures

My awesome cousin, Lynette, took some photos of us in Salt Lake a few weeks ago. Isn't she so talented?

Congrats Boo

My little baby got an internship today!! He'll be working for Rapid Penetration of Markets. We've never heard of them, but apparently Greg will be working with another company that is trying to market an App for Verizon phones called My 911. Cool.

And here he is making salsa

Spicy

I found a cute idea for spice containers. They're made out of baby food jars and their lids have been painted. I used a silver Sharpie marker to write the names. You can also make them magnetic. Here's where I got the idea.

We made it!

Well we made it through our first year of marriage and it was awesome! Being married is so wonderful. It's comforting to know that you have someone to share eternity with. Someone who loves you, cares for you, and needs you as much as you need them. I'm so thankful for Greg and all he does for me. He's such a sweetheart.
He's truly the most wonderful man I've ever met. I love you honey.

Here's a look into our past:

Yesterday, we got some pictures taken to remember our first year together. Look for a future post with those snapshots.

Finally 20

Well y'all, I'm no longer a teenager! But Greg still makes fun of me for being young(even though he's only 3 years older). I spent the entire day with Greg and it was wonderful. I woke up to find a plate of hot whole wheat waffles covered in strawberries. YUM. I did have a class at school, but Greg went with me so I wouldn't be lonely. Then for lunch he made fish tacos, which were absolutely delicious.

And for the big finale, he made a homemade spinach and bacon quiche, while I got to take a nap. He was so scared he wasn't going to be a good cook, but he's fabulous. The quiche was delicious.

And for dessert: homemade pound cake and chocolate sauce topped with strawberries. How spoiled am I?

All in all, it was a relaxing day with my baby. Oh and I finally have a hand mixer (thanks Steph and Anth). Until now I've been mixing cookie dough with a wooden spoon. Talk about some tiring work.

Check out our latest Craigslist steal

Someone sold this picture to us for $30! Now our bedroom looks totally awesome, but Greg's missing the waves.

Another easy craft

I can't really take credit for this. Jess gave me the idea. But this is such a cute little home decor piece that you can make yourself. We have it hanging above a big mirror that's over our couch.

And it's made of toilet paper rolls!!!
